Preparation:
Beat together. Sift together: Mix together and add 1 1/2 cups nuts. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

Ingredients1 (5 lb.) venison roast
3 cloves garlic
1 c. beef consomme
1 bottle of Lowenbrau Dark
Preparation:
Marinate roast overnight. Lay 4 bacon strips on top of roast. Cook indirect for 2 hours. Add 7 coals on each side after first hour.

Ingredients1 lb. sweet butter or low fat, low cholesterol margarine
2 c. sugar
5 eggs or egg substitute
1 tsp. vanilla
1 oz. of anizette (or whiskey)
3 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 lbs. all-purpose flour
Preparation:
In large bowl mix together flour and baking powder and set aside. Cream butter in electric mixer until soft. Blend sugar with butter, add eggs one by one (or egg whites and blend well). Add anizette (or whiskey) and vanilla, mix thoroughly. Take all these ingredients and pour into a flour mix and knead until dough can be rolled without breaking. Using butter on hands roll dough into different shapes (small amounts of dough to make the shapes). Place cookie on ungreased cookie sheets. Brush tops of cookies with egg and milk mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes on top rack or 5 to 20 minutes on middle rack. Makes 120 cookies.

Ingredients1 (8 oz.) cottage cheese, small curd
1 lb. shrimp, boiled, deveined & chopped
2 eggs, boiled
2 lg. tomatoes, sliced
Salt & pepper to taste
Paprika
Preparation:
Mix together cottage cheese and chopped shrimp. Peel eggs and mash until fine. Mix with cottage cheese and shrimp. Add salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with paprika for color. Arrange sliced tomato over top of shrimp mixture. Serve with crackers and beverages. Serves 6.

Ingredients1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. buttermilk or use regular milk and omit baking soda
1 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda; cut in shortening until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in buttermilk until dough leaves side of bowl and rounds up into a ball. (If dough is dry, stir in 1 or 2 tablespoons additional buttermilk.) Turn until lightly floured surface. Knead lightly until smooth, about 10 times. Roll or pat dough 3/4 inch thick; cut with 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place on cookie sheet (about 1 inch apart for crusty sides, touching for soft sides). Brush tops with melted margarine or butter. Bake until golden brown 12 to 15 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Makes 6 large biscuits. Serve warm with butter and honey, sure to melt in your mouth!

Ingredients1/2 c. onions, chopped fine
2 tbsp. butter
4 moose steaks
1 c. chopped mushrooms
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation:
Brown onions in butter; sear steaks on both sides. Cover; simmer for 30 minutes. Add mushrooms. Stir flour in sour cream; add to skillet. Cover; simmer for 20 minutes longer. Yield: 4 servings.
